PARIS-SHANGHAI...COLUMBUS

it is no secret that i love karl lagerfeld.

chanel's resort & pre-fall runway shows are two of my favorites of the year. the chanel team does an amazing job creating an experience that is second-to-none. the clothes, the location, the time, EVERYTHING comes together so beautifully to create the ultimate presentation. i can't help but to appreciate all of the behind the scenes work it must take.

the pre-fall 2010 collection, Paris-Shanghai, is my favorite of the "city" collections. karl did a stunning job of taking chanel's signature look and twisting it with china's heritage and history.

i'm usually not one for huge logos or obvious branding; however, i can't get enough of this military hat from the collection.

shirt jacket - RRL
henley - alternative apparel
shorts - urbn pants i turned into cutoffs

  1. I love the outside modeled hat shots.... fantastic. please tell me you had this in mind when you took these.... but just a suggestion. be careful what you do with you hands in that hat... you may look a little natzi-esque...hahahaha.
