breaking news.
fall boot search 2010 ended with the arrival of my new boots below. the quality for the money is astounding; i can't believe how inexpensive they were - strong work dr. martens. the leather is beautiful and i really like the suede detail around the opening, the only thing i might alter are the laces. these are so good i'm going to have to get them in brown as well. i guess good things really do come to those that wait.
in other news, i'm finding that i'm gravitating towards more black pieces lately, i think due to the shoes i got in paris. i've never been one to wear a lot of black and i don't have much of it in my wardrobe; however, recently, it seems like everything i've been lusting after has been in black. wearing all black, like below, is totally new for me and i'm having fun with branching out of my comfort zone.
